Seminars for Teachers
At The Family India we believe that any sustainable change in society will only come about through education. Teachers thus play a pivotal role in society as agents of that change and architects of the next generation.
We also understand that teachers have one of the most demanding vocations in the world and in order to fulfill their important roles with excellence, they need training, motivation as well as regular mental, emotional and spiritual rejuvenation. Our seminars help teachers to bring out the best in their students. They focus on topics such as:
- The Power of Appreciation and Building Self Worth in Students
- Imparting Values to Children
- Positive Discipline
- Commitment to Excellence
- Teaching students how to handle ‘failure’
These seminars address issues that have a direct bearing on teachers’ personal happiness and productivity. They are designed to help them to successfully overcome life’s challenges and equip them to make a positive difference in the lives of the children they work with.
Seminars for Students
The India of tomorrow will be what the teenagers of today grow up to make it. We also believe that teenagers – especially high school students – possess an enormous capacity for making a positive difference and we are committed to providing them with the tools and training that they need to be a force for good in society.
To this end, we have created a series of targeted character-building seminars and programmes. These ‘high impact’ seminars include live music, skits, interaction, humour, and lots of thought-provoking content. They are designed to be motivational & inspiring, fast moving and no-nonsense to hold the attention of a young audience. One such seminar called, “The True Leader” drives home the point that the world needs true leaders – leadership defined as the ability to:
– Do what needs to be done without being told to do it (a.k.a. ‘initiative’)
– Bring out the best in others
– Be a ‘giver’ and not just a ‘taker’
– Persevere.
– Be a team player
