Family India

Thought of the day

Success starts in the mind. If you want to be successful in any area, train your mind to look beyond obstacles, disappointments, setbacks, and even failures. A successful life starts with a successful attitude.

For Schools

Seminars for Teachers

At The Family India we believe that any sustainable change in society will only come about through education. Teachers thus play a pivotal role in society as agents of that change and architects of the next generation.
We also understand that teachers have one of the most demanding vocations in the world and in order to fulfill their important roles with excellence, they need training, motivation as well as regular mental, emotional and spiritual rejuvenation. Our seminars help teachers to bring out the best in their students. They focus on topics such as:

  • The Power of Appreciation and Building Self Worth in Students
  • Imparting Values to Children
  • Positive Discipline
  • Commitment to Excellence
  • Teaching students how to handle ‘failure’

These seminars address issues that have a direct bearing on teachers’ personal happiness and productivity. They are designed to help them to successfully overcome life’s challenges and equip them to make a positive difference in the lives of the children they work with.

Seminars for Students

The India of tomorrow will be what the teenagers of today grow up to make it. We also believe that teenagers – especially high school students – possess an enormous capacity for making a positive difference and we are committed to providing them with the tools and training that they need to be a force for good in society.

To this end, we have created a series of targeted character-building seminars and programmes. These ‘high impact’ seminars include live music, skits, interaction, humour, and lots of thought-provoking content. They are designed to be motivational & inspiring, fast moving and no-nonsense to hold the attention of a young audience. One such seminar called, “The True Leader” drives home the point that the world needs true leaders – leadership defined as the ability to:

– Do what needs to be done without being told to do it (a.k.a. ‘initiative’)
– Bring out the best in others
– Be a ‘giver’ and not just a ‘taker’
– Persevere.
– Be a team player

Programmes for Junior School Children

The Family India offers a series of unique, interactive and high-impact music and theatre programmes on values that we would all like to see in children — good manners, respect for others, a good work ethic, respecting the environment, good health habits, positive friendships, handling peer pressure , and becoming a responsible citizen at an early age.

These programmes have been met with much enthusiasm and have become a recurring part of many schools’ activity schedule across India. School teachers and principals especially appreciate these programmes as they address important issues that caregivers are concerned about.
